If I deploy 3-3-3-2 and part of my second group of 3 I want to put one of the units in ambush, do I then for that section only deploy the 2 on-table units, or do I then deploy 2 and 1 from the next group of 3 and keep going like that ?

If you had one group in ambush you would deploy 3-3-3-1; 2 BG in ambush would give you 3-3-3-0

Thanks. Makes sense, otherwise if you deploy 3-2-3, people would pick up immediately that you have an ambush.
