Suggestions on how to keep Shermans alive through Africa? Ya, i got Wolverines backed with artillery leading the offensive. But it takes German hardware sometimes 1, max 2 shots to destroy shermans. And sooner or later they are exposed.

its quite easy actually, whenever you see an enemy armor you can't take, you either;
(remember the AI is pretty dumb)
1) bait it out with a useless unit you have
for example on a bad terrain for tanks, then kill it with your infantry
2) attack it with a strategic bomber, cut their ammo in half
3) attack with a dive bomber, arty and when suppressed, use your best tank to knock it out.
4)rinse and repeat.
