Stitching map parts

Often I can't grap a map in one take in the preferred high resolution.
I use the free Image Composition Editor (ICE) from Microsoft for stitching together map parts to be used as the template.jpg.
Highly recommended. I takes me about 7,5 seconds to stitch two parts (north-south, east-west).
I have even used it to create a map from 3x3 map parts. This I had to do in several operations.

I've already tried that tool too a few times. The error-chance increases proportional high the more parts you try to combine at same time. It's sometimes ridiculous how parts are messed-up even if you cut pictures out with about 50% shared pixels.
The early PC-campaign maps snapshot from PC-editor are maybe still possible in few parts with HD resolution but they also become larger in time. I will take for sure longer than 7 seconds to manually stich them part for part. I find the results of these tools still quite disappointing, that I sometimes rather manually put them together; especially if certain real-world maps have these annoying round edges and don't really fit well together according to latitudes.
I guess I don't have the talent and luck like you, Erik. :(

I've used this tool for all old PzC maps in my last three campaigns, that is a lot of stiches :D
No problems with inaccurate renders.
