Saving games works erratically. I've been playing the Bora Bora tutorial and it seems to save occasionally. I have to keep playing the tutorial from the beginning over and over again.
In what folder are the saved games saved ? how can I save a game manually ?

My impression in 1.07 is that game only saves at the start of a new turn.

So whenever I want to quit playing I make sure I finish that turn, then hit end turn and then when the new turn pops up I don't do anything yet and quit. Because anything I do at that point, if I don't end the turn, is not saved.

Savegame location is (for me):

C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\Every Single Soldier\Afghanistan '11

(where Username is of course whatever your windows username is)

That file is always overwritten at the start of a new turn. So you can make a copy if you want to be able to go back to older turns or a different game, then you would have to manually replace the current one with an older copy that you made. Make sense?

This is all based on post tutorial skirmish games. Not sure how the tutorial did it, sorry.
