Given up

Just had my third PBEM game fail on me, not going to bother trying again until the magic patch appears. Hadn't played for some considerable time and realised something was up when the enemy scythed chariots broke off from contact, and some previously routed ones rallied.

From the other posts I see that many other players are wrestling with this Unity version.

How could this version have made it past the initial playtesting? As another post sagely observes, it looks like the sort of thing you get to try as a beta before the bugs are ironed out and the background info ('Authenticating hash data', hahaha) is removed from the finished product.

The original (pre-unity) version of the game is still working well, with lots of challenges open at the moment if you want a game. Most of us either never moved to Unity or switched back to the original a while ago. I'd recommend you do the same rather than give up.
