3D Modeling Tutorials for Pike & Shot and Battle Academy
Posted: Mon Apr 10, 2017 1:31 am
I made some tutorial videos about 3D modeling for the Battle Academy engine. I will post them here, they should be valid for Battle Academy, Pike & Shot, and Hell, and hopefully Sanctus Reach; as they all use the same engine.
I had a heck of a time figuring some of this out, I am starting as a novice. They use 3ds Max (which is not free).
1. Using the pack and script to get an example (animated) infantry model into the game.
I am a new poster so it is not letting me post a url link (for now google: "slitherine youtube 3d model tutorial")
2. Opening up Pike & Shot and putting the model in-game.
I am a new poster so it is not letting me post a url link (if you get to the above video, the second video should be easy to find under my username
3. S4F's are automatically made, they have to be deleted when updating a model, how Emitters work, editing the texture pics.
4. Importing a 3D model from another source, such as from the Total War forums
Video 1 of 2 for Total War. Had to stop abruptly, will record more.
5. Continue Total War example
..in progress
