One Buffalo After the Other

I have two Buffalo, one behind the other. I want to have the lead Buffalo start building a road, which it does as expected. But now I want the second Buffalo to continue building the road from where the first Buffalo left off. But instead of the second Buffalo going over the top of the first, although in normal movement it would, the second Buffalo has to move off the freshly built road, and around the side of the first Buffalo, before it can start building.

Is this really WAD?

It doesn't seem like it ought to be. If I understand correctly, if there were an IED in the first hex the second Buffalo starts to build the road into, the IED won't go off until the second Buffalo actually enters that hex, although I'm not entirely sure. So there should be not issue with doing this.

We have picked this up as was related to another bug report, happens when you issue an order to a unit that can't perform the task after another unit has performed it in the interim, we will fix it rather sooner than later, in the interim don't order two units to do the same thing ...

Okie-dokie. I'm now letting the first Buffalo build one less hex, and then back off one hex to make room for the next one. It just a bit wasteful of AP's. Looking forward to getting the Buffalo into a road building stampede
