Bowmen and Crossbowmen shooting

Has any work been done on making the shooting unit visible with a ' puff ' of arrows as musketeers are with a ' puff ' of smoke?
I still find if very frustrating not knowing which units are shooting at my units.

It was being worked on before release, but time ran out. I think it is unlikely that resources will be found to add arrows and crossbow bolts at this stage. It is not something that the in-house Byzantine Games team can do.
If it is any consolation, the next game certainly will have them.
