Idea for Afrika Korps/Italian Campaign

I would like to see a possible branch campaign similar to the 42/43 West Grand Campaign that picks up after the fall of France allowing the player to choose between Barbarossa or being transferred to support the Italians in Africa. A limit should be placed on the amount of veteran units taken to Africa (the bulk going to support Barbarossa). The campaign would extend into the Sicily and Italian campaigns.

Regarding "Buffalohump Lance Corporal - Panzer IA", Yes I whole-heartedly agree to this suggestion!.

First!, I would like the actual/historical vanilla campaign. "a La' Blah!"

Second! , in a spin-off, possibly history altering situation ,I would like to take a 'Crack' at Malta to try to ensure that the British do not have control of it in which they can then intercept and destroy 70%-80% of Rommel's Supplies.

Third!, at the same time if possible during Rommel's dash across Afrika, might we not also be able to play the Italian's in South Africa in Eritrea,Somalia,Etheopia with "Generalea' Gariboldi"?. Perhaps if Either of them is successful enough they can come to the assistance of the other?.

Fourth!, if the Axis is really successful, they could advance into Cairo and beyond, even to the Caucasus?.

This could make for some very interesting Game-Play!.

If I do not misremember, Panzer General allowed a Sealion campaign after a successful capture of Cairo and then allowed a Moscow 43, then on to America.

I am not advocating for these hypothetical battles. I would personally prefer an extended Italian campaign. I know Italy was a side show after the invasion of France but think it would offer some interesting battles that have not been covered already. I have always admired the defensive campaign carried out by Albert Kesslering in Italy.
