Remove mandatory units when raising new armies

In the campaigns, whenever you raise an army there are some units that you have to recruit. If say, you lost your artillery guns in a battle, you can't just recruit another unit of it, because it would come with a whole other army.

How do I remove the minimum unit numbers when recruiting?

For example, I'm playing the Imperial side in the Gustavus Adolphus campaign. According to its CustomCampaignTools.bsf, the Imperial side uses the LTYW_GERMAN_CATH. I went and found the army list located in Core folder, and changed all the min numbers under [LTYW_GERMAN_CATH] to be 0.

It didn't work though. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

The answer is that the Imperialists use [MTYW_GERMAN_CATH] until 1639.

(See line 370 in CustomCampaignTools.BSF)

Will that cause funny army composition when the AI builds their own armies?

Maybe. Although if only the Imperialist lists were changed it won't affect his particular campaign.
