The prices are always the same in USD. Steam have a different currency conversion process to us so after that prices can vary up or down depending on how things swing. We use a live rate while Steam set their rate once every couple of years.

your key with the bought from site version is also your steam key, so no need to alter it, or ask for another in the member section etc
