I have re-installed everything from scratch (1.58 -> 2.48 -> 2.99 -> then all campaigns). Still can't get single player to work.
Nothing happens when I click on it in the main game menu.

Rename "Order of Battle - WW2" as "_Order of Battle - WW2" in your Windows documents folder:

....\Documents\My Games

This worked for the Kriegsmarine beta, but my official game only displayed a black screen. Even missing the windows border.
Deleted all settings, same result.
Deleted settings a second time. Got the game working, but single player is broken again.

I believe your game installation must be corrupted. So you have to completely wipe out.

1. Uninstall the game, official and beta.
2. Rename the folders named "Order of Battle - WW2" and "Order of Battle - Pacific" as "_Order of Battle - WW2" and "_Order of Battle - Pacific". these folders can be found in your Windows documents folder at: "...\Documents\My Games"
3. Download the file attached in this message OoB_ClRegx64.zip
4. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file OoB_ClRegx64.reg
5. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game
6. Install Order of Battle: WW2
7. Run the game and exit
8. Install update 2.99
9. Install your DLC campaigns

OK, went through all the steps, but something funny popped up as I was going to install the last campaign, Winter War.
I get a message that 2.5 must be installed before I can install WW which also happen to be v2.5. Never seen this before. I should already have 2.9.9 installed

I quit the WW installer, ran the the 2.99 installer again and then back to WW. This time single player is working and all campaigns are activated.

Had to reinstall again since the Kriegsmarine beta breaks single player if it is installed last.

Question: How do you active the original Pacific campaigns?
Installing the original setup game will overwrite newer files.
Installing Pacific first causes the WW2 setup to break single player, at least on my PC.

Download and install the installer files for US Pacific and the Rising Sun DLC from your member's account.
It' should be available now for download, as I've registered their serial numbers (the same serial number as Order of Battle: Pacific) in your account.

I had to reinstall again as installing the Kriegsmarine beta broke single player.

Installed 248, ran the game, everything is OK.
Installed the 299 update, single player is broken again.
Deleting the Settings folder fixed it.
Ran the game again, edited Options and restarted game. This broke single player once more.

This without installing the beta?

Yes. As I mentioned, at one time upgrading from 248 to 299 caused the single player to break.
I have found no consistent behavior after trying several reinstalls.

Are you onlçy deleting the Settings folder? Have you tried renaming the the entire folder "Order of Battle - WW2" as "_Order of Battle - WW2" ?

yep, renamed the folder each time.

Weird.
You could try to install the Steam version of the game and check if the same issue happens.

I will try steam. I'll also check if 3.2.6 scenarios in the custom campaign or scenarios folders may cause it.

It could be.

Removed all installations and installed the Steam version.
There is something with one of my custom campaigns that break single player.
I'll do some further testing to find the culprit.
But at least I have a working system again.

The initial error log says
"FileNotFoundException: Could not find file "C:\Users\Erik\Documents\My Games\Order of Battle - WW2\Campaigns\Oahu Invasion 1941 Jp AI\data.cmp""

Is this file missing and does adding it fix the problem?

Only Adherbal can answer it.

Adding this campaign/file is what is causing the problem...
I think it is an earlier version of a custom file I tested (not mine).

I just tested a custom campaign without cmp file. That does indeed break the code. After next update it will correctly ignore those folders.
