Corrupt Scenario?

I've been creating a mod that has custom nations/units.

When my first scenario starts up I get the briefing dialog but continuing doesn't show the turn window with the weather forecast etc. Instead it goes straight to the main PzC window. The map doesn't appear (blank screen apart from the sidebar) and I can't no longer interact with the UI. Buttons can be clicked but they do nothing. I have to kill Panzer Corps via Task Manager. Validate Scenario shows no errors and I can see nothing else obvious wrong.

I've also taken a copy of the 1st Tutorial scenario, edited that to remove all existing units and flags and replace them with my custom ones, added that as a new campaign and that all works fine - I can play the scenario through to the end.

Any ideas? Or is it start again from scratch?

TIA

Check if the name of your custom scenario matches the name in the campaign.pzdat file.
Make sure the game knows that you are using a custom e-file and nations, that can crash the game too. Appropriate files must be placed in the appropriate folders.

That's why I chose to create a second scenario (editing Tutorial 1 as a basis) to check my updates to the game files were ok...
I can select it as a custom campaign and the scenario starts up ok but then hangs the game.

... I've just double-checked it and the name looks fine. Briefing files exist etc.

I'm guessing I need to throw it away and being again.
