Age of Reason

Hello,
Now that Pike & Shot has taken off, is it possible to use the same, or perhaps a somewhat modified engine to do a game representing the Age of Reason. I see this encompassing the era from the War of the Spanish Succession to the End or the Seven Years War along with that wonderful, simplified strategy element used in Pike & Shot.
I actually hope that Slitherine is already working on this or a similar project.
