Preview of the object disappearing in Editor

I'm creating a map in the editor for the contest and sometimes the preview of the object (except tiles) I'm trying to place disappears - which makes things difficult. Is it something I am doing or it a bug?

It is a bug that is now fixed, but I am not sure whether it is live in the current beta version. Either way, sorry for inconvenience.

Thanks for the reply Pip. I am using the beta branch.
Do you know of any actions I can take to reset the editor when this happens while waiting for the new patch?

It's to do with what is on the map turning on alpha which makes the objects vanish. There is unfortunately no workaround.
