(new player here) I noticed that in the Detailed Unit Info, it's lists "HE Effectiveness" which I assume should be "HE Accuracy" seeing that that stat is being literally used as accuracy when targeting HE targets, same like AP Accuracy.

IIRC HE doesn't have effectiveness because it is not intended to penetrate. So HE only needs accuracy (how likely are you to get the boom on target), while AP needs to both hit the target and then have a high enough effectiveness to penetrate.

Yes exactly, which is why I am asking why is there "HE Effectiveness" in the Detailed Unit Info, as you can see in the second screenshot. Seems like a typo, and it should be "HE Accuracy'. Weird that nobody noticed this in all these years?

Ah - I see. I guess someone is using them interchangably as they are fundamentally the same thing for HE.
