Sealion to GC 1943. Worth It?

I'm finishing Operation Sealion at the moment.
As I want to play with my core some more I'm tempted to import It into GC 1943 East.
Did you try It? What was your experience?
Is It worth It?
Or It's better to play eastern campaign from the beginning?
Will the difficulty change significantly? Or It is the same?
