Mediterranean circa 279BC

I am interested in running an 8 player tournament using Hoplite armies from Immortal Fire that are rarely used as they consist mainly of protected hoplites that get chewed up by armoured hoplites and pike. An exception to the armoured hoplites restriction is a small contingent of Sacred Band that can be selected in the Early Carthaginian list. The tournament will be played on a round robin basis i.e. everyone plays everyone giving each player 7 games. I would like to follow on Okie's Special League Tournament using 600 point armies on a 1000 point map. Fog of War and doubles moves must be used when posting a challenge. There are no restrictions so any 600 point army composition can be chosen and can be changed game by game.

Army choice is on a "first come, first served" basis. Post your interest in participating and include one of the armies listed below that have not already been selected. I have started the ball rolling by selecting the Later Colonial Greeks.

1. Later Hoplite Greek - Caiko
2. Later Colonial Greek - Cunningcairn
3. Thessalian - Ulysisgrunt
4. Kyrenean Later - Jonathan4290
5. Early Carthaginian - Edmund_Blackadder
6. Later Syracuse - MikeMarchant
7. Hellenistic Spartan - NikiforasFokas
8. Hellenistic Athenian - Londo

Best wishes

Martin aka Cunningcairn

We have a full field. As stated earlier everyone plays everyone so you can go ahead and make your challenges. Please remember it is 600 point lists on 1000 point maps. I will table results as we progress. Good luck everyone. Let the games begin!

Unfortunately I think I got in ahead of you. My reference above to taking the Philosophers was meaning that I wanted the Athenians.
