Strange one here. Tactical battle - Galenia A/I attacks me Bouvarian Empire, I chose Tactical. He brought two Militia, I had about 15 units including two Trebuchet's. one of his troops started in the water. I used my trebutchets to kill his land militia, moved down to the coast and took a shot at his guy in the sea, battle ends as he retreats, however combat review screen shows him with one Trebuchet, and one Militia, and me with just one Trebuchet and the rest of my troops, closed the screen and sure enough only one trebuchet on my side.

Very odd indeed. Is it possible that your trebuchet was packed (had just moved and turned into a wagon) when they AI retreated from the battle?

Yes, one of my Trebuchet's was packed and moving.

OK, that gives me more idea of where to look for the problem then.
