Experience going above 225 in 1939 Grand Campaign

I have 2 possible bugs I am experiencing in 2 of my Campaigns.
First:
In my Manstein playthrough is that I have exceeded the 39 experience cap. This showed up in the 2nd scenario
I have 3 artillery units that are over 225 experience. I do not have any units with over 300 experience but I did not think it was possible for me to get above 225 prestige in 1939. Not sure what is going on, but it has me concerned that I will not be getting the Manstein Steam Achievement, when I did not change anything on the custom setting after I clicked Manstein, so is there any logical explanation as to why I am experiencing this?
2nd:
I am playing on Rommel level in Afrika Korps and I had 2 cities that gave me unexpected large amounts of prestige.
Msus gave me 100 prestige, and Benghazi gave me something like 225 or 275 in prestige.
Is this a special set up that the developers have as a nice little surprise for the player or is it an unknown glitch that has not been commented on or noticed from the community.
Look I am not complaining as I really needed and need all the prestige I can get when playing this great Campaign.
Just wondering why I am experiencing what is happening in my playthrough's.
