Hi All

Got to the siege of Bristol scenario and was dismayed to find my musketeers evaded out of one of the fortlets !!!
Sorry but that's just wrong.
They would have at least waited to be charged and then fought it out a bit.
Then surrendered
One of the few places that you would have had hand to hand combat definitely was in a fort
For me this is the one area the game doesn't work
Is there a way round this or do I bypass this and go straight to Nantwich as this is just wrong
Or is there a mod ?

They will evade (flee) if the odds are too much against them even after taking into account the effects of the fortifications.

Not all troops stood and fought when they were ordered to do so.

Bristolians are notorious for going down the local tavern for a few ciders when the pressure's on. Witness our local football team. So all quite realistic, IMHO...
