how to change units icons in strategic map

Is it possible to customize the unit's icons in the strategic map?
You mean the 3D units? That would take some serious graphic abilities. I have not seen any guide for how to do this yet.
The 2D icons should be fairly easy. Take a look at the official Battle of Britain mod for an example.
