The file should be downloaded and placed in the game folder under the main game installation folder. Say yes to overwrite the existing game.class file.

This fixes the bug where it was possible to deploy newly built air units in mountain, swamp or foresthills hexes. You can't rebase to such hexes so then it doesn't make sense you can deploy newly built units to such hexes.

The main GS v4.00 installation link is also updated with this bugfix. So you don't need to install the bugfix if you downloaded the main GS v4.0 files after January 1st 2017.

No Hotfix for Mac version. Main link is updated for bug fix. Use that link.

The hot fix file for PC users can not be used for Mac versions.

PS: I couldnt find anywhere which are the rest prerequisites for Spain activating as Axis except of USA neutrality???....

If you accept the French Armistice and then declare war on Vichy France ...Does Spain join Axis if you capture the " french" North Africa??? Thanx a lot for your reply...

No. You must refuse the Armistice, otherwise Spain will not join the Axis even if you later capture the French colonial cities.
