Hello
I'm really enjoying Sengoku Jidai and heard it was similar to Field of Glory. Is that true? Does is play close?
Thanks!

I played pike and shot, which is the same engine as sengoku jidai, and got bored after the while. This game is infinitely more addictive: it came out more than 6 years ago and tons of people are still playing it (there's a new version but nobody is playing it as far as I know). FoG plays on hexagons which makes the game more fluid than the squares in P&S and movement more intuitive. FoG also has painted figurines instead of the digital boxes that pass for units in P&S. Note that the game was designed by the same guy so you will be able to jump from one to the other relatively easily.

I also feel that you have more control in FoG over Pike & Shot. I often felt I was a bit of a spectator playing P&S.
Best Wishes
