This is it, the final challenge, one last battle between our two contenders.

They fought hard and long and defeated many opponents to get here, but there can be only one champion.

Misterno vs Goose_2!

Personally I am hyped, and I am really curious to see what happens.

I tossed a coin to see who would issue the challenge. It will be Goose 2! Goose 2, please issue a challenge for Misterno to accept. You all know the rules by now, so I won't repeat them. The battlefield? Steamroller against Steel! An epic map for an epic conclusion.

This is the final, so it doesn't make sense to put a deadline. I will be on vacation from December 7th, though, so I hope you'll be able to finish before it! If not, my colleague Daniele will take care of announcing the winner.

Eternal glory awaits the winner, as well as a nice prize. Who will prevail?

I have waited with baited breath this posting.

I have set the image as the background to my work computer. Yes, I am that big of a geek.

I will have to set this up when I get home.

I do not have the most experience on this map but I will give him my best challenge.

I will type up a day by day like I do here to try and capture the battle and my frustration.

Misterno has remained a mystery all throughout this tournament, since I live in the center of the US of A I am not sure what time zone he is in, but I will make every effort to play my rounds as speedily as possible and will set this up in like 8 hours as I am just unable to set this up until I return home from work.

Super Excited and Delighted to have made it this far.
I am happy with whatever happens as I am just ecstatic that I have made it this far.

Believe me I want to win, I am just trying to not get cocky as I am known to do and my opponents have been able to take advantage of when I play.

Oh that is a lot of games. I do not keep count, but I think I recently crossed the 10 games line. At least I contributed a bit to the 97 as well Good luck and locking forward to the report!

Ohh that's a really good map for the final, I've had many good games won, and lost, on that one!

I am looking with great interest at this tournament - I hope You'll keep it up and I'll be able to participate in the next one! Although short round times are kind of a concern for me...

We wanted to wrap this up before Christmas

Maybe next time we might have a bigger, longer one. Who knows?

We shall see what 2017 brings - I only know there will be more tournaments for sure.

I want to give you progress however we are only on Misterno's Day 3.

We are having trouble playing at the same time because Misterno lives in Montenegro and I live in the center of the US of A.

I can say that I was able to draw first blood as I destroyed his reg inf in truck.

We are hoping to bust out some rounds this weekend, but I am just not sure. I was able to play my previous player from Moscow in 1 week and that was 33 rounds but this being 30 and 1 round per day is killing me.

I want to win...I mean play quicker.

I am not sure how to do that, but tomorrow Braccada will be live streaming our latest battle in Poland.

We are doing a project going through every multiplayer map, it should be fun and very instructive.

Well with the weekend down it is not going well on the battlefront.

My back has been broken, in the game, and I have lost all of my best units and am floundering now.

I have not quite given up but will probably in the next few rounds as it seems almost inevitable.

He beat me fair and square by suckering me in surrounding my units and taking them out piecemeal.

I will post a day by day when it is all over but it will not be as detailed as my other day by days as I am just disappointed.

I need to take a break from the game a little bit, slow it down in my playing because I let the excitement and drive of getting this far take my balance out of whack.

II am first and foremost a family man and in all this I lost my focus, I appreciate all the well wishes and encouragement from everyone. It has been fun and I am honored to have made it this far.

Hopefully Misterno can put the nail in the coffin in the next couple of days so I can officially secede the win to him, but until then...
