Howdy Grognards,

Been playing OOB WWII for a while now, have all the campaigns (U.S. Pacific, Marines, Rising Sun, etc.) and new Blitzkrieg update. Got the hotfix for the AI slow/freeze/memory leak issue. All is well. Still rampaging through the U.S. Pacific campaign and am now to New Georgia and looking forward to starting Blitzkrieg in December. Like the new Specialization system - big improvement! Thanks!

Love the OOB game system - been playing these series since original SSI Panzer General (and Allied General and Pacific General - and even Star General and Fantasy General if you remember those too - when PG first came out, I contacted SSI developers and told them they had the best game platform ever, and should expand it to include Allied campaigns, Pacific campaigns, and even add new genres like the SSG Warlords Fantasy games and a Star Trek-like Sci-Fi game using the same engine... and they did!). And now I'm loving Panzer Corps too - but OOB has added most of the Naval features Pacific General had which is what I have been dreaming of.

But one thing all the SSI games had that I miss is information - equipment tables, leader bonus lists, campaign trees, etc. Of all the game features I would still like to see (and I may offer a list later, but still enjoying them as is for now) I would really most like to see more game information! Is there any way you can publish / share Equipment Tables list(s), Special Abilities list(s), Leader Bonus list(s), Campaign Trees, and other useful game info? Even a simple raw text file with this info would be great - but having this available in-game via help/info features would be awesome.

I'd like that, too.

You can find the raw data in the game installation folder under "Order of Battle - WW2_Data\Content\Data". Most of these files are in common txt or csv formats.

An in-game unit library would be cool to have, but it's not super high on our priority list right now. Perhaps after the elusive skirmish mode is done!

Thanks! Saw the raw data (kinda hard to visualize it but the equipment data is there). The Abilities are listed as well but their effects on the game (movement, combat, etc) aren't specified. Will look forward to more info to come (hopefully campaign trees too) when Skirmish Mode is done.

As to the campaign trees, there are none, acutally - the campaigns are all linear, the conclusion of Morning Sun being the only exception. Looking forward to seeing the game grow with more content and features!

Ah. Good to know. Would hope for a richer set of variable campaign options in some future release - still have plenty to play with as is for now though!
