Slitherine

I downloaded the new patch to install so I could install Blitzkrieg, I am getting the errors shown in the screenshot below.


I installed OOB - Pacific initially and then upgraded to OOB - WWII. Install path still shows "D:\Slitherine\Order of Battle - Pacific"


Please help!!

did it give you the option or did it manually try to install elsewhere?

in other words any error messages given?

i don't have it, so best bet it to wait for staff support as VPaulus is the man for this or the developers etc, will ask him to take a look for you know by pm

No other error that what is shown. no option to install anywhere else.

Do you still have the beta installed? It might be worth uninstalling that if you do?

I'll check that the install location shouldn't matter

Also, it might be worth trying to update to 2.6.8 first and then 2.9.6, just in case that helps matters in the short term?

Follow the suggestion offered by Shards in the previous post, but if the issue persists, please do the following if you are running a 64bits Windows version:

1. Uninstall the game
2. Rename the folders named "Order of Battle - WW2" and "Order of Battle - Pacific" as "_Order of Battle - WW2" and "_Order of Battle - Pacific". these folders can be found in your Windows documents folder at: "...\Documents\My Games"
3. Download the file attached in this message OoB_ClRegx64.zip
4. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file OoB_ClRegx64.reg
5. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game
6. Install Order of Battle: WW2
7. Run the game and exit
8. Install update 2.9.6
9. Install your DLC campaigns

You can download the the installer files for Order of Battle: WW2 and your DLC campigns (US Pacific, Rising Sun and Winter War) from your Member's area:

Uninstalled Beta before trying to install new patch.

2.6.8 is already installed.

Which installer should I start with, one of the original OOB - Pacific installer (OrderOfBattle-Pacific-SetupRelease-158) or the WWII installer (OrderOfBattle-WWII-SetupRelease-v248)?

I'd start with the WWII installer

Great! My guess is that the Beta and the old game got a bit mixed up in your registry. Glad it's working well now!
