Cohesion Markers

I made some special cohesion markers for my 10mm Classical Indian army. I took a pack of swordsmen from the Magister Militum line, removed them from their base and cut their swords off then pressed the figure into some green stuff spread over a penny. Then I made a javalin out of a clipped straight pin. I painted it up and painted the sides different colors to represents different states of cohesion. I'm pretty happy with the result. I may get crushed in the small tournament we are running in Austin, Tx next week, but it least my boys will get fragmented and routed in style

Steve Payne gave me an excellent idea regarding the use of these markers. He uses a counter which he can flip to help him keep track of which units are eligible to attempt to recover cohesion during a given JAP. I am now using a variation on that theme. When I blow a cohesion test, I put down two markers instead of one. On the next JAP, I remove one of the markers. On the following JAP that unit only has one marker so I know it is eligible to attempt a rally (assuming the general is around of course
