We are happy to announce that Drive on Moscow is out on PC and Steam!

The second Shenandoah hit to be ported to PC, Drive on Moscow follows its predecessor Battle of the Bulge’s approach to wargaming: it represents the campaign for Moscow in a deep yet extremely immediate, fast paced and fun way!

Players will lead the Wehrmacht or the Red Army in several different scenarios or in a campaign featuring the whole road to Moscow. Face an extremely competent AI and remember that you won’t fight only against the enemy army: it’ll be a race against time, for russian winter is unforgiving. See the gameplay changes dramatically thanks to the game’s weather system and dynamic map!

Even though the AI is excellent, the game truly shines in multiplayer. It was designed with multiplayer in mind, and we have implemented our new Tournament System into it. We at Slitherine believe that e-sports have a place in the world of wargames, and we intend to organize tournaments and leagues like we’ve done recently for other titles! Challenge players from any other platform thanks to its smooth crossplatform system.

And if that's not enough, try to get all the 31 Steam achievements!

I noticed the product page says the game has an "editor." I was surprised by this. Is this correct?

no, i don't think so, it's a typo, unless i'm corrected any time soon that is

Well it's a pretty dumb mistake, considering none of their other games had editors. I usually only buy games with editors or some type of modding capability.

There is not an editor indeed. It seems to be a mistake (now immediately fixed). Our apologies for that.

No update for iOS version??. I have seen there is a new app.

I thought you will do same as BotB and update the iOS version so we can play multi with other platforms.

And what is more you have deleted the old version from appstore without warning (if I lose my backup I lose my game...)

So I supposed that if we want the new version with the improvements, tournament system and cross-platforms multiplayer we have to pay again

I suppose there is no way we can satisfy all the players . We received a lot of feedback from the community not to replace the old version. In the same time we don't have the means to support the old version - thus we removed it from sale.
Simply said, some people prefer the old version while others want the newer one, and there's no easy way for us to provide 'keys' for the newer version to the ones who already have the other version - we've tried but apple is very strict about this.

Please see the sticky that explains what we are doing and why. You guys made it crystal clear what you wanted and nobody supported what we had done so we did what you asked!

So - this new version on IOS supports PC style saves like the update to BOB provided right?

Yes and is cross platform compatible for multiplayer.

Doesn't the older game have a few more AI opponents than this new version? Please don't tell me that they will be made available as an IAP.

Yes, the old version had 3 AI opponents for each faction. The new one has 2.
We felt there wasn't enough variation to have 3. As a side node: in the old version we didn't feel the first 2 generals much different either.

There are no plans to add more generals through IAPs.

Sorry you are unhappy but you did not need to buy the game again - we made it very clear if you already had the game we were not trying to sell it to you again. We explained everything in the sticky announcements. We did exactly what we said we would do, which was based 100% on feedback from the community on Bulge. I suspected this would happen but its a little frustrating as whatever we decide to do someone is going to be unhappy

The problem with not buying the new app is than every time you run the old app, Apple have been kind enough to let us know with a popup message that "thisapp may slow down your iPad and the developer needs to update it". I accept it's just apple being apple, but it's still an extra step, and a constant reminder of the situation. I have bought the new app and am happy with it, but I see the point other people are making.

I bought the game again. If you want to participate in tournaments is not otra.y sooner or later the old disappear application of the app store. I am more unhappy than the fact that this in German and not Spanish ¿? ¿? ¿? ¿?

Maybe the game should have been an UPDATE, WITH THE OPTION TO PURCHASE the multilayer and tournament mode? Some people, me for example, NEVER play online. Was this option considered?
If this was discussed before the decision was made, some of us, I would suggest most of us, spend our time playing the game rather than monitoring the forums.

The option to upgrade the old app was taken off the table completely by the community. Please read the history to see why we didn't update. Updating was our preferred option but it was rejected by the community.
