I notice the latest update is whopping 1.2 GB, too large for some people in bad/rural connection area. Once again (like the us corps and soviet corps downloads) I wonder how much of my download allowance i will have to waste this month trying to repeatedly download it in a bad connection/rural area like alot of people when you could EASILY put up a torrent link so as not to waste time and data allowance of customers.

I reinstall windows regularly for security and performance reasons. I then have to re-install the game. As someone who has bought ALL the different downloads and expansions I have to install every file i have bought individually then put in the correct serial number, and hope it works - which it sometimes doesnt. I then have to repeat this EIGHT times. (I suppose it could be worse i didnt get the grand campaign DLC's individually, giving an additional four files/serials). This takes HOURS and HOURS and requires my time/attention during it. May I suggest that you rectify this by making it easier for those like me who try to support this game by buying all the things (instead of supporting piracy). You obviously now have the one file with the gold edition but i cant justify paying £69 for something I have already bought just to get a reasonable install. I regret to say I would be very embarrassed to recommend this excellent game to anyone because of the ridiculous install (only).

do you use steam? or would you consider using it?

the reason i ask it's that i also reinstall each of my 8 to 10 pc's once a month, some times more often, and with steam, i just take a copy of the data, and back up, then on a reinstall of a windows image, i copy over the data, and just run the steam setup again, which is tiny, no download needed, it updates and then links all my games back for me, only downloaded data needed is anything newer from the back up date. regarding none steam games, they are kept on my server and also on a back up drive, so for most a second driver one do for this, which has every download and SN, plus every update needed for a given game, so again no download needed for me either, but i'm a bit luckier than most as i'm on cable with a 200mbs / 50mbs connection, but still keep data anyway once downloaded for bad net access, try a download manager, one that resumes or can do part file data on a given time / date and resumes if lost, there's some that work with most browsers and O/S, i use the default one in chrome, but also a ftp program filezilla which is also free, atm all my pc's are on windows 10, but do have images ready to any O/S if and when needed, so same applies to any.

I'm sorry, but this have been debated before, according to our own experience, this is the best way to ensure that the game is updated correctly.

If you have issue with your Internet connection, I suggest to install the game through Steam, as the Steam platform uses a different method for installing and updating the games.
You can always play the game on Steam on offline mode.

Thanks for the replies. I am reluctant to use steam but at this rate may have to. I had assumed you had to have an internet connection to use a steam installation or at least to initialise the installation in which case if i depend on steam i cant always play when i want.

You'll have to install the game through Steam, but it be easier with the updates.
it's also easier when downloading the game, as you don't have to download all in one "go".
Anyway, this was probably the last update for Panzer Corps, unless there's something wrong we won't release more.

I have got to say I love the changes in this update; the soft cap info is really helpfull.

That is why I always buy CDs for the games. No download required (I will admit that paying AUD 22 extra is a bit annoying, but it is worth it to avoid losing downloads when the computer breaks down or internet crashes).

You could as well, after you downloaded the installer for the first time, backup it up to an external hard drive or burn it onto a DVD yourself. Costs a mere fraction and works.

I believe you are correct. You have to have an internet connection first to tell Steam you want to play off line.
