Has anyone done one yet?

Or might be working on it now?

Seems that it may offer the opportunity for a good atmospheric game.

Perhaps similar to Storming Calais but with a forest of impaled enemies nearby.

Not sure how flexible the toolset is in terms of creating such images .... but would be interesting to see on this engine if it could be pulled off ....

I believe I saw Native American Teepees in one scenario so perhaps impaled bodies is no so far fetched?

While it might be colourful, I somehow doubt that any of Vlad's battlefields had impaled bodies on them before the battle.

Well, impalement was his most common form of punishment so it's possible an Ottoman army marching up would still encounter a few people "Hanging Around" (god, I hate myself sometimes...). However, chances are most of the impaling would have been done after a given battle, when prisoners were dealt with.

Though I do remember this one case where the Turkish troops and Mehmet ran into a forest of their own prisoners at Tirgoviste, which led Mehmet to turn around but IIRC left his troops to carry on.

"Hanging Around" lol - about impalement ... I get the Point. ... ok let's stop now ... ;)

Anyways regarding your comment - I believe that was the event I had encountered in my reading.

Definitely not the norm but there were cases (as was his intent) where troops ran into is grisly ornaments.

Might make for a nice, atmospheric scenario .... if those with the appropriate skills could make it happen ....

It's certainly possible to create new 3D scenery elements.
