1) A Broken BG only gets 1 attempt to rally. If the attempt is failed the BG is destroyed (scattered/exhausted)

2) A Broken BG that starts the JAP phase more than 12MU from a commander is destroyed

Terry, can you clarify point 2? Two questions. 1, 'if' does not make sense here can you explain? 2, assuming that this applies to any BG irrespetive of state it will make some LH armies almost unviable - for example Parthian BG of LH is 4 MU from it's command, gets charged in the opponents turn, evades long and ends up 13 MU from its commander. Gone. This could mean that if if I want to break such an army all I have to do is say Boo! and I win in 3 bounds.

Reply. One final question. So my broken BG is not destroyed if I am within 12MU of one of Phil's Commanders at the start of the JAP?

I think you know the answer to that .......
A BG only counts commanders that are 'in line of command'.
