pre-islamic arab list?

I see there is an early Arab ally in Rise of Rome.
Am I right in assuming there won't be a stand alone FoG equivalent of the DBM Later Pre-Islamic Arab list?
Just asking, not complaining.

You are correct. It is possible that a list may eventually appear on the Field of Glory web site after all the books have been published, but don't hold your breath.

Couldn't the later pre-islamic Arabs be catered for as an option in the Arab Conquest list?
It's the same troops before they converted.
Troop types would not change much, just quality might go down.

It was decided not to do that - mainly, IIRC, because it wouldn't just be a difference of troop quality but also some significant changes of type.
I'm afraid the Ridda wars will have to wait for Lost Scrolls
