Heavy Artillery

Two questions.

Obviously they cannot move, so they are not listed for being disordered in certain types of terreain under the move distances sections. What terrain can they function in ? They steady in Rough or even Difficult ? Obviously difficult like Woods would affect visibility ranges, but do they remain steady ?

Also, I am not sure what it means when the rules state that they force a CT for 2 hits, even if they do not score the hits ? Does that mean that at long range if I have 2 dices to roll, a possible 2 hits, is that already enough reason for a CT for the apponent, provided that 2 hits would se enough for 1HP2B, regardless of the dice roll and score to hit POA's ?

If there are no rules listing them as disordered, then I would assume they are not disordered. Note, however, that they cannot be deployed in difficult terrain (P146).

For CTs, as long as somebody causes 2 hits on the target that the artillery is shooting at, the target has to test (even if it is not 1HP3B). You do need to actually hit with something, but the artillery itself does not need to hit.

"Heavy Artillery are assumed to be in prepared positions and therefore are not disordered by terrain." P 132.

As was clarified in an earlier thread, they cannot ambush.
