Hi - Hope you can point me in the right direction here though I appreciate as it is a mod. issue that may not be possible.

Issue is on two multiplayer challenges using the downloaded module Extra Nations v2.

Challenges were accepted with no problem.
On attempting to load my turn get this error message
"Empty string trying to find string value: CARRYMISSION in <from Data> (0)"

Which then returns second dialogue box with
"Fatal application Error
Unhandled Exception
Exp. Code: 0x8000003
Exp. Flags: 0
Exp. Address: 0x0049040D
Please Report"

I expect it may be different versions of the mod. downloaded by my opponent and I - just wondering if you know otherwise?

I have not come across this issue despite playing numerous MP games using that Mod. (Albeit possibly using an earlier version of the .EXE).

I do not know what is causing it.

Are you using Pike and Shot: Campaigns or vanilla Pike and Shot?

Can we try a game and see if it happens. I have posted a P&s:Campaigns challenge, password Triarius.

I think these were my games. I posted four, two were taken by lascar and two by Triarius. I received a turn, deployed my army then send it off. After that my opponents got an error message and could not send a turn back. The games are currently languishing in my 'enemy turn' box. I re-submitted two duplicates of the lascar games to him and they are working fine.

Using 'Campaigns' not on Steam. Windows 10. All games using Extra Nations before and since work fine. I did have an error message where I could not log on to multiplayer one evening but than has self corrected itself. Other than that I don't know why these four games failed.

I've got the same problem. I'm playing lascar and can't get it to work. All my other games are alright.

Are you getting the same error message?

I think I may have identified the issue that is causing this, although I cannot see why it should be intermittent.

I have therefore uploaded v3 of the Extra Nations MP skirmish module to the FTPs. You can download it in game in the usual way.

The MP bug correction is the only change, so the SP version is still v2.

You should finish any existing (working) games using v2, but you can have both versions on your machine at the same time.

Please let us know if the new version does not correct the issue for future games.

I down loaded the patch but i still have the problem and get the same two error messages.

With existing games or with new ones started using the new version?

The new version will not affect existing games, which will continue to use v2.
