Moving or Removing units in Editor

Greatly enjoy the game but having difficulty with the Editor. Holding cursor over a unit and pressing delete or holding down delete and clicking with LHM does not work. Ive tried the different Toggle deployment settings but no success. What does Toggle deployment do?

While in unit placement mode, you need to hold down Delete and L-click on the unit. It is like this to stop you from doing it by mistake.
What does Toggle deployment do?
It toggles whether the scenario has a deployment phase or not.
