Interesting! but i don't believe that Slitherine would have the problems Firaxis has with CIV IV. On a personal note, i don't need MP in a strategy game if the AI is challenging (like in Spartan or GalCiv). :wink:

some people do need MP tho.....for example, the Rome: Total War AI is, well....its appaling....on Very Hard you can beat it and lost just under 100 men, while killing well over 1,000 so MP does keep it alive, that and the fact that it is pretty moddable and unlike Ensemble Studios did with AoE3 they didnt use Granny Files for the unit models, so they can be edited!

But that's exactly my point...the AI in Rome isn't good enough. They didn't spend enough time on it. If it was good, you wouldn't need MP.
