I'll be there Hunter, though will be taking a trip down to Bathgate on the Saturday night for a gig with one of my bands (the Rainbow tribute)...so as long as i don't *ahem* Bungle the competition....!!!

2 items of news.

The Memorial Hall, Luncarty is booked so plenty of space.

Chef Eric will be performing his annual miracles in the kitchen. BIG prize for the first basho goer to down one of his legendary quadruple bypass baps (and live).

We look forward to welcoming old friends to the basho and encourage anyone thinking of coming to speak to regulars and then make the trip. You will be made very welcome and will have a whale of a time (avoid the QBBs though).

2 lists have flooded in already. Thank you Jim and Hugh! It did mean I had to fire my list of to this pair for checking double quick though as I hadn't planned on that. Anyways 11 players so far and 3 lists - must be some kind of record!!!!

Memorial Hall booked. Not the football club this year as they can't give us a guarantee on the premises. On the bright side its airy and nor smelly before we start! Oh - and the toilets are closer to the tables Paul .......

I'm not in favour of going for the V3 changes yet. As Terrys latest AAR shows the rules are still in flux. So OK for trial games, but too fluid for a tournament.

Hunter is coming south of the border soon so clearly has some sense of adventure... v3 is too fluid at mo for me... rules keep changing etc... stick to current version as it maybe FOG swansong ?

I'd go for the V3 amendments, after all, it's just for fun........plus I'm on a roll, played two V3 games, been absolutely humped both times

Yes, I would agree we should be looking to changing to MEG next year.
