Two simple question about fields fortification,

A- Whats I the base sized of fortifications?. I assumed 40mm wide, and the depth?

B- I read I can put field fortifications 10MU of my side, 15 MU is in the central third. If i play a a 36 MU table side, i can put fields fortifications at 15 MU of my side in the center 12 MU, it's correctly?.

Thanks a lot.

PD: My english is a bite bad.

Yes to B.

A: 40mm in 15mm base scale. Measuring is from the front of the fortification. The depth is not specified, I believe we just assume players will be reasonable.

Size is defined P. 126 as

15mm deep x 40mm wide in 15mm scale), and 20mm x 60mm for 25/28mm

You are correct with deployment see P. 142

Anywhere up to 10 MU from "his" base edge, or 15 if in the central third of the table's width

Oh no, not another rule I have missed. I hope my fortifications are the right depth. I spent a good piece of the weekend making them.

The convention in previous rulesets was 40mm dept maximum before frowns started appearing. 40*40 gives plenty of opportunity for wagon laagers, ditch bank stakes etc tangled dense boma etc....
