Using version 2.6.7 - I had Seabees as part of the scenario of Guadalcanal, however, playing the next fight in New Guinea, there are no Seabees to purchase. I seem to remember having them available to add to my core units when playing through this campaign earlier [before new patch]. Were they eliminated as an option, or is this an oversight, or am I just getting old?

No Seabees at all in the purchasing infantry section.

Have now gone through the entire Allies & Marines campaigns with the latest 2.6.7 patch. Not a Seabee to be had [other than the scripted ones]. They appear to not be available for purchase. Is this on purpose or an oversight in the patch?

So, a simple question - have Seabees been purposefully removed from the game or is it an oversight? Patch 2.6.8 - no Seabees in the game for purchase AT ALL - yet, they are referred to in the new units notice & elsewhere. The only Seabees in the game, as the Allies OR the Marines are the unit at Guadalcanal [part of the setup].

I just got the newest patch, too. I just so happened to be starting Guadalcanal. You're right -- there are no "Seabees." But there are "engineers" with the same characteristics. I guess somehow the name got changed. But they can lay mines, build bridges, and etc.

Well, this is embarrassing! I just "discovered" that you can scroll through the little purchase units by type by using the slider - that I never noticed - on the right side of the panel. Lo & behold ... Seabees!!

Now I wonder how many other unit types I have missed. Might be a whole new game!
