The problem is that Slitherine no longer have access to the apparatus that was used to photograph the miniatures for the game. There are a few unit graphics that could allow some Swifter than Eagles armies to be done, but not the full set.

In the meantime Sengoku Jidai could relatively easily be modded for earlier periods of East Asian warfare, and uses almost the same ruleset as FOG.

I really wish Sengoku Jidai would extend to the Boshin War or at least cover post Sekigahara events like the Shimabara rebellion if it would be covering the Genpei War soon. Also if other Asian and colonial western nation armies would be available, it would be nice since the Sengoku Jidai conflict can get a bit samey with their units (i.e it is just against samurais and peasants and whatnot) and I would be so happy if there are more what-ifs like what if the West were more aggressive with their spread of religion in Japan. Other than that, something like a DAG generator and battle mode would be nice but I am already so happy with the game having a random skirmish generator.
