Time of turns in multiplayer

Hi slithery ones - I hope you're enjoying your summer! Here in Oz, it's winter, but that didn't stop us from from having a 26 deg C day yesterday, same as Brexiting London! Anyway, my question relates to the time displayed when an opponent in multiplayer submits his turn. For example, Roger just put in a turn at 1800 hours my time, which displayed as 0100, but it's actually 0900 his time. Is there a setting I have mucked up? My profile is Correctly set as Sydney time...

Turn times as the time on the server, so it is consistent. I can't recall the server timezone off the top of my head, though I think it might be Eastern US time.
Cheers
Pip

The multiplayer server(s) my games have been going through appear to be on the US West Coast. I'm in New England and just uploaded a turn at 5:06pm, or 17:06. Looking at the turn waiting for my friend, it shows a time of 14:06 or three hours behind me ... equivalent to the difference between the US Eastern and Pacific time zones.
