Hi,
As per the thread title is there any advantage keeping sub/ally Generals within the CnC shaded command area or at they free to roam?

Thanks for the game. Awesome gameplay (imho) plus I love the look :-)

Command range affects the combat units and not the Generals. Gererals don't need to be within the range of the C-in-C.

But there is benefit to keeping them close. C-in-C can influence all troops. So if you keep the Sub and Allied Generals (and subordinate troops) in range, the C-in-C can immediately provide command benefits when the generals die.

Of course you have to remember that the Japanese C-In-C is customarily immobile.

Which is why the side that strays farther from its Honjin is at disadvantage... on the other hand, if you get close to the enemy's Honjin and kill it, you're up for a sweet victory (it happened very rarely here).
