Can you import your core force for scenarios

I just finished the Marines Campaign and now I want to go back and play the Iwo Jima scenario by itself. Can I import my core force from my previous campaign into this scenario (if so how) or do I need to create a new army all over again?

If you can't do it, that sure would be a nice feature!

You can't. For that to work it would require either manually or automatically saving your core force at the start of every scenario (and for every time you replay a campaign or scenario in a campaign). Sounds quite complex and it's probably just as much work for the user to keep savegames from every stage in your campaign.
