Playing against the dreaded Ming for the first time and noticed that the artillery sound of some of the light artillery sounds like an UZI submachine gun.
Spoils the ambience of the game somewhat.
Can these artillery sounds be corrected to reflect early gunpowder weapons firing ?

The artillery sound consists of one discrete bang for each gun, it certainly isn't a recording of an Uzi submachine gun.
If, however, you can tell us where we can access and licence the authentic sound of early Chinese light artillery then we would be interested.

Are those the rocket arrows?
It's a multi-sampling of a single rocket sound effect to make it sound like a multiple rocket launch.
Maybe you did not notice because the unit portrait is still the cannon tube.

Probably was now that you mention it.
Maybe the sound of sky rockets from Guy Fawkes night would foot the bill ?
One sound I do like, and think it fits perfectly, is the trumpet/bugle when a unit rallies.
