Does the Collector's Edition contain everything from the basic game? Or do they both have separate content?

The Collector's Edition contains everything from the basic game, plus the extras.

Thanks for the info. One other question: does the Collector's Edition also contain all the content in the Deluxe DLC pack? So, if I purchase the Collector's Edition, would the Deluxe DLC pack contain new material not in the Collector's Edition?

Yes
So, if I purchase the Collector's Edition, would the Deluxe DLC pack contain new material not in the Collector's Edition?
