Who makes the best 15mm Ottoman turk range?

I've got some of the OG LH archers that look ok.

I picked up some of the venexiaminiatures but their a bit crude with small legs and feet.

Overly so IMO.

I figure with the upcoming army book due out.. Thinking about picking up an army and doing a painting log...

TIA,

Madcam.

Essex has a range in their Renaissance list. Some figures are for later periods. I've seen an army made up for our period and it looked good. The Janissary foot models are clean and attractive. As usual with Essex, the quality of the casting is generally crisp, though there aren't often variations in poses.

There are pictures of many of the models here: http://www.essexminiatures.co.uk/frames15ren.html (click on the link on the Page 3 listing in the sidebar.)

Madcam,

I really like the Donnington ottoman foot. They mix well with essex. have good poses. A touch thinner than essex. I'll bring a couple to h-con for you to see.
