Battle of Marsaglia 1693 scenario

My scenarios for the Battle of Marsaglia 1693 are now available for download. There are 3 versions; a Multiplayer and 2 single player versions (so that you can play both sides).

The French artillery batteries are a little unusual in these scenarios. In the actual battle they seem to have kept up with the infantry advance, and were much more manouverable than was usually the case in this period. I have never seen the AI move medium/heavy guns with limbers before, so therefore I have made the French guns medium, but with Light gun movement capabilities.

I have used Adebar's Autumn tree textures from his Four Seasons Terrain Mod, with the normal Southern Europe Terrain tiles for this scenario. many thanks to him.

This is the last of my Nine Years War scenarios (Hurrah I hear you cry!), and I will now be moving on to do other periods. As promised I will first release some of the scenarios I made last year while learning the trade. Next week I will release Knockdoe 1504, a little Irish battle. Then I will release an adaption of the standard Great Turkish War campaign, but set in the 1520s to cover Suleiman the Magnificent's wars against the West. After that it will be on to my next big project, The Great Northern War.

Cheers

Paul

Many thanks for all your work, I haven't had chance to play the Marsaglia battle yet but look forward to it, and VERY much looking forward to your Great Northern War scenarios!

The Nine Years War scenarios were a wonderful addition to the game, and I'm saddened to seem them come to an end.

Please don't hesitate to add a few more battles from the southern theater if the mood takes you.

But maybe when you've gotten the Great Northern War out of your system, you can take a look at the Scanian war and the battles in Poland that figure in the Henry Sienkiewicz novels.

(And explain the numbering system on Swedish kings named Karl while you're at it).

Thanks Phillipe,

I have done all the major battles (and some of the minor ones) from the Nine Years war, including the Southern theatre. It was really just Staffarda and Marsaglia on the Italian front, and the River Ter in Spain. I may diverge from the Great Northern War occasionally to do some Scanian War or Dutch War battles, they do interest me a bit.

I'm not sure about the Swedish Kings numbering system, I will have to look it up!

Cheers
