after the patch today it appears mp is having troubles. 1st off I saw the directions to dl the patch in order to continue active mp games. I did it and now the only game i'm up in won't load. it just sits there waiting for the red bar to fill, but nothing happens except advice. normally i'd have 5 or 6 games to me by this time of day so i'm pretty sure my game mates are having the same trouble. we are all in hiatus. anybody else having troubles?

Not me. Two of mine loaded ok. It did think about it for a little longer than usual.
No replays though, suppose that might have to do with the update.

Note to my other opponents, slow turns today (again). Visitors shortly and the place is a mess (nothing new there).

@coolhandlewke: Can you upload the output_log.txt after attempting to load the MP game?

that is not something i'm familiar with. what would the procedure be?

were you unable to take your turn here erik? i noticed it was hung up on you, and made me feel better i wasn't the only one with the 2v2 problem. my 1st new 2v2 filled today while at work. i'm anxious to see if it runs ok. i don't care if the active games need to get dumped.

Yes, there was no red bar at all. Had to kill the game eventually.
Must be something with the 2v2. I have played a number of 1v1s after the upgrade, and all have been ok.

how did you kill the game? i tried esc. and resign but nothing happens. the only thing i can do is exit to desktop.

I had a look at the error, someone weird going on here. If someone can confirm (2v2) games launched after the 2.4.8 update work or don't work, that would help.

my 1st post patch 2v2 game started without a hitch. all old ones still dead in the water.

Sorry, I used Alt F4 to exit to desktop.

post patch 2v2 game still running smooth. its a bummer I can't let my opponents know what's going on in the games where my turn won't load. communication among mp players is pretty clunky.

so when they 1st announced oob:ww2 there was a mention of new 2v2 mp maps available to owners of any dlc. did these get added, or something in the works?

We're planning to add a few maps with the Winter War update. I was hoping to get Direct Multiplayer done as well but that's gonna have to be delayed.
