Is there any chance of CEAW getting a graphics overhaul?

The game really needs a graphic overhaul and, in my opinion, it's the best game Slitherine ever produced.
Not with the current game engine. It has hardcoded all graphics to be 1024x768 which was a decent resolution when the game was created around 2006. If CEAW 2 is ever created then it will be made with a new game engine with multiple resolutions. However, I don't know about any plans to make CEAW.
The game engine used to create CTGW seems to be well suited for CEAW 2.
Regarding CEAW you have to remember that the game was created 10 years ago for Windows XP and is way beyond its life cycle. It's the modding of GS that has extended the life of that game. However, modding is limited to using the game engine the game was made with, i. e. Java for CEAW. So there is a limit to how big changes modders can do.
